Whitewater kayaking can be a dangerous sport and you are the sole person responsible for the decisions you make while on and around the river. This guidebook is just that - a guide, not an instruction manual. Despite our best efforts to remain objective, some of what we say are suggestions and opinions.
The class I-VI difficulty grading system is subjective and river classing can be highly dependent on the perspective of each individual river user. Our opinion of what constitutes class V may differ from your opinion of what is class V. Also remember that rivers are constantly changing and you may find very different conditions to what we describe.
As always, scout carefully and make your own decisions. If you think our information is not correct, please let us know. Be safe and have fun!
