This guidebook is just that - a guide, not an instruction manual. Despite our best efforts to remain objective, some of what we say are suggestions and opinions.
The class I-VI difficulty grading system is subjective and river classing can be highly dependent on the perspective of each individual river user. Our opinion of what constitutes class V may differ from your opinion of what is class V. Also remember that rivers are constantly changing and you may find very different conditions to what we describe.
